Booking and payment details

A written quotation will be supplied and sent via email, The hirer will need to accept this in writing.

Upon booking Stages For Hire will issue a deposit invoice of £200.  The booking will only be confirmed once this invoice is paid. This deposit is non refundable.

On receipt of deposit payment all reports such as Risk Assessments, Insurance documents and Structural reports if required will be issued.

The balance payment will be invoiced and payment must be received  at least 7 days prior to the event. Should the event be cancelled up to and including 30 calendar days from event date then 50% of the hire balance is payable.

If the event is cancelled within 7 days of the event date or if the event is stopped through bad weather or Police/Local Authority intervention full payment of the invoice is required.

Any company booking must include the details of the individual responsible for the use of the stage, and ultimately payment of, should the company payment fail.

Technical details

If your event is on a grass site it is your responsibility to ensure that access is possible.

Stages cannot be erected in very high wind conditions over 8 on the Beaufort scale (39-46mph, 17-20m/s).Conditions can be monitored by a hand held anemometer that we will supply.

Please consider stage position carefully in terms of how level the ground it – our stages are designed to cope with unlevel  ground up to a maximum of 0.3m.

Please ensure gateways are no less than 2.65 meters wide.

We require a turning space of 20 metres.

To ensure we can accommodate the stage in the position required please supply site photographs or request a site visit.

Whilst every effort is made to keep these terms and conditions up to date, we do reserve the right to change these without prior notice.

An up to date copy is included with your booking invoice.
